Soft, tasty and healthy, this cake is ideal to enhance the delicate taste of our Extra Virgin Olive Oil with Lemon, a perfect ingredient for a light and rich preparation. <\/p>\n\n<p><strong>Preparation time<\/strong>: 15 minutes <br\/><strong>Cooking time<\/strong>: 35-40 minutes <br\/><strong>Difficulty<\/strong>: Easy<\/p>\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Ingredients (for a cake):<\/h3>\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>3 eggs<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>300 g of flour 00<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>100 ml of milk<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>A pinch of salt<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>180 g of sugar<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>100 ml of <a href=\"https:\/\/www.ilbottaccio.it\/en\/prodotto\/extra-virgin-olive-oil-with-lemon-250-ml\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\"><strong>Extra Virgin Olive Oil with Lemon <\/strong><\/a><\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Grated peel of 2 lemons<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>A sachet of baking powder<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Almond flakes and icing sugar (to decorate)<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Procedure:<\/h3>\n\n<ol class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li><strong>Prepare the dough<\/strong>: In a bowl, beat the eggs with sugar for about 5 minutes, until fluffy. Slowly add the <strong><a href=\"https:\/\/www.ilbottaccio.it\/en\/prodotto\/extra-virgin-olive-oil-with-lemon-250-ml\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">Extra Virgin Olive Oil with Lemon<\/a><\/strong> and milk, stirring constantly. <\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>Incorporate the dry ingredients<\/strong>: Sift together the flour with the yeast and a pinch of salt. Add everything to the egg mixture, alternating with the grated peel of the lemons. Mix until you get a homogeneous dough and no lumps.  <\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>Prepare the cake pan<\/strong>: Oil and flour a 24 cm diameter cake pan, then pour the mixture inside.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>Bake the cake<\/strong>: Bake at 180\u00b0C for the first 10 minutes, then lower the temperature to <strong>170<\/strong>\u00b0C and cook for another 20-25 minutes, or until the cake is golden brown and cooked inside (do the skewer test).<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>Decorate and serve<\/strong>: Once cooked, let the cake cool and decorate with almond flakes and a sprinkling of icing sugar. The cake is ready to be served! <\/li>\n<\/ol>\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Final tip:<\/h3>\n\n<p>For an even more delicious variation, you can add chocolate chips to the dough or brush the cake with a light lemon glaze.
