In the first half of December, Suvereto hosts a festival that has been celebrated for over 30 years, where traditional cuisine, performances, exhibitions, cultural initiatives, and folklore blend together in a rich and diverse program. Among the initiatives the historical procession, the flag-wavers of Suvereto and a large grill that cooks savory meats. The undisputed star of the kitchen is wild boar, which is proposed in more traditional recipes. Other typical dishes can be tasted outdoors or in the restaurants participating in the event
