Orecchiette with fresh tomatoes and basil

Ingredients for 4 people:
- 320 g of orecchiette
- 200 g of fresh cherry tomatoes
- 1 clove of garlic
- Salt
- Fresh basil
- Extra virgin olive oil Tuscan IGP

Procedure:
- Preparation of the sauce:
- In a large frying pan, brown the garlic clove on low heat with a drizzle of extra virgin olive oil Toscano PGI and a pinch of salt.
- Wash and cut the fresh cherry tomatoes in half, then add them to the pan with the garlic. Cook over medium heat for 5-7 minutes, until the tomatoes start to release their juice.
- Cooking of the orecchiette:
- Bring to a boil a pot with plenty of salted water and cook the orecchiette according to the instructions on the package, leaving them al dente.
- Once ready, scoop the orecchiette and transfer them directly into the pan with the cherry tomatoes.

- Sauté the orecchiette in a frying pan for a few seconds, so that they blend well with the tomato sauce.
- Arrange the orecchiette and garnish with some fresh basil leaves.
